Whether the sign or signs promote the planned land use in the area of <br /> the subject property and enhance the aesthetics of the surrounding area <br /> The tenant displayed on the monument sign ("Sunrise Inn") promotes the <br /> planned land use in the area (lodging accommodations), and enhances the <br /> property by its design being similar to the architecture of the mall building. <br /> 3. Whether the sign and its placement obstructs or interferes with any <br /> other signs or property in the area or obstructs natural scenic views <br /> The sign's placement will not obstruct or interfere with any other signs, nor <br /> does it obstruct any natural scenic views. It is approximately 6' high and is <br /> located approximately 183' from the nearest freestanding sign on that <br /> property. <br /> 4. Whether the proposed plan is aesthetically superior to what could be <br /> installed under existing criteria in the sign code <br /> The proposed sign is aesthetically superior as it has a decorative brick base. <br />
