5. Animals <br /> a. List any birds and other animals which have been observed on or near the site or are known <br /> to be on or near the site. Birds and fish-per a Programmatic Biological Evaluation <br /> prepared for the City of Everett, by Pentec Environmental dated November 3, 2009 <br /> the following was listed for the Langus Park area of the Snohomish River: <br /> * Juvenile coho salmon and chinook salmon, as well as bull trout, move <br /> through the estuary during their spring and summer outmigrations from <br /> the Snohomish River System. Use of the area occurs primarily during May <br /> and late June for coho and chinook salmon and from mid-April to mid-July <br /> for bull trout. Our proposed maintenance work would occur during periods <br /> of minus tides between present date and the end of February 2018. <br /> * There are songbirds, gulls and per the referenced biological evaluation there <br /> are also osprey present at certain times. <br /> Examples include: <br /> birds: hawk, heron, eagle, songbirds, other: <br /> mammals: deer, bear, elk, beaver, other: <br /> fish: bass, salmon, trout, herring, shellfish, other <br /> b. List any threatened and endangered species known to be on or near the site. None known <br /> c. Is the site part of a migration route? If so, explain. No. <br /> d. Proposed measures to preserve or enhance wildlife, if any: No measures proposed as <br /> wildlife not in vicinity <br /> e. List any invasive animal species known to be on or near the site. None known <br /> 6. Energy and Natural Resources <br /> a. What kinds of energy (electric, natural gas, oil, wood stove, solar) will be used to meet <br /> the completed project's energy needs? Describe whether it will be used for heating, <br /> manufacturing, etc. No additional energy resources shall be used at completion of <br /> project. <br /> b. Would your project affect the potential use of solar energy by adjacent properties? <br /> If so, generally describe. This project will not affect any potential use of solar energy by <br /> adjacent properties. <br />
