The plans <br /> designer also attached a letter describing the changes that were made to the plan set. <br /> As for item number 4 on the review letter, we described the construction activity that we <br /> plan to perform on the house in the original submittal of the building permit. There are <br /> no structural changes or walls moving other than the exterior wall repair from previous <br /> roof leaks. The home was vacant for many years and we cleaned out all the dilapidated <br /> finishes, fixtures and floorings to give the home a fresh start. The walls were covered in <br /> 1/4 inch wall paneling over the original wood shiplap wall coverings that were covered in <br /> wall paper. The wall paneling was removed to expose the original shiplap on the walls <br /> and ceilings. This gives the appearance of the home being in a rougher shape than it is. <br /> The existing walls with shiplap will be covered in drywall as described in our permit <br /> submittal and detailed in the plan set where it shows existing walls typical detail.
