Irerracon <br /> • Mr. Rex Gordon, Skyline Properties, INC. <br /> • Market Plaza Improvements Drawings, by PLA drawings <br /> 2.2 Building Description <br /> The View Ridge Plaza is located at 220 Olympic Boulevard in Everett, Washington. The <br /> main building was constructed in 1959 and contains approximately 22,000 of interior floor <br /> space. The building consists of one floor with multiple suites for various business, <br /> churches, and theater type spaces. The project area also includes a coffee stand and a <br /> fruit stand. <br /> The main building in the project area is wood concrete construction. The roof is membrane <br /> with foam insulation over built up asphaltic roofing. The building is heated by a forced air <br /> heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Interior floors consist of residual <br /> mastic and vinyl sheeting, vinyl floor tiles, and glued down carpet. Interior vertical finishes <br /> include textured gypsum wall boards, rubber cove at base of walls, fiberglass reinforced <br /> panels. The roof was a built-up asphaltic roofing under a foam and membrane style <br /> roofing. <br /> The fruit stand is wood and sheet metal construction. The building did not have any <br /> finishes. <br /> The coffee stand was wood construction. The roof was sheet metal and built up asphaltic <br /> roofing. Interior floor was vinyl sheeting, interior walls were gypsum wallboards with rubber <br /> cove at the base of the walls. <br /> 3.0 ASBESTOS ASSESSMENT <br /> 3.1 Building Assessment <br /> Mr. Iverson, Mr. Daniel Sheppard, and Ms. Derica Escamilla all Asbestos Hazard <br /> Emergency Response Act (AHERA)-accredited building inspectors (Certification 177774, <br /> expiration date: 4/3/2021 and Certification 173888, expiration date: 7/3/2020, respectively) <br /> from Terracon, performed the sampling on June 15-17, 2020, and July 1, 2020. Terracon's <br /> inspector collected 185 samples of materials identified as suspect ACM. <br /> This assessment was conducted using a modified protocol adapted from AHERA.
