International Fire Code. The fire code official shall implement said authority and <br /> responsibilities under the direction of the fire chief. <br /> Section 2: Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2985-07 (EMC 16.03.030), which reads as <br /> follows: <br /> International Fire Code adopted—Code Conflicts. <br /> A. The International Fire Code, 2003 edition, published by the International Code <br /> Council, Inc., including Appendices B, C and D (hereinafter referred to as the "IFC"), <br /> as amended by the State of Washington through its Building Code Council pursuant <br /> to Washington Administrative Code Chapter 51-54, save and except such portions as <br /> are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended are hereby adopted by reference and <br /> incorporated herein as fully as if set out at length herein. <br /> B. One (1) copy of the IFC is on file with the City fire code official, and one (1) copy <br /> is on file with the City Clerk. <br /> C. To the extent allowed by RCW 19.27.040, if provisions within the Everett Fire <br /> Code conflict, the Fire Code Official has discretion to choose which provisions shall <br /> apply. <br /> D. The City of Everett does not adopt the International Existing Building Code. All <br /> references in the IFC to the Internat6ional Existing Building Code shall be amended <br /> to reference the International Building Code as adopted by the City of Everett. <br /> E. The City of Everett does not adopt the International Electric Code. All references <br /> in the IFC to the International Electric Code shall be amended to reference the <br /> National Electrical Code as adopted by the City of Everett. <br /> Is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> International Fire Code adopted—Code Conflicts. <br /> A.
