Project Summary <br />SITE INFORMATION <br />Snohomish County Parcel #: 29053100400500 <br />Address: 4730 Colby Avenue, Everett, WA 98203 <br />Site Area: 350,222 sq. ft.; 8.04 acres <br />Project Description: <br />The new YMCA proposed for South 48th and Colby Avenue is <br />a community center serving the health, fitness and well-being <br />of residents throughout the City of Everett. Primary program <br />elements include aquatics, a gymnasium, group exercise and <br />youth activity areas. The second level is programmed for <br />cardio and strength training, additional large group exercise <br />rooms, a cycling room and an indoor running track. <br />Program partners for Phase 1 may include Big Brothers and <br />Big Sisters as well as a local prominent healthcare provider. <br />Phase 1 includes the program areas listed above, as well as <br />supporting functions for a total of 63,150 sf. Phase 2 will <br />likely include a youth gym, racquetball /squash courts, sports <br />fitness, additional youth activity areas, performing and visual <br />arts components, as well as expanded group exercise and <br />cardio strength areas. These additional program areas add <br />another 14,900 sf for a gross area of 78,050 square feet. <br />It is critical that the site is developed for ease of access for <br />vehicles and pedestrians. This proposal also includes an <br />outdoor entry plaza and open green space to the south for <br />member use.
