<br />Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Lift Station 47 - Beverly Lake Sewer Replacement Project will be
<br />received at the office of the City Clerk, Suite 1A, Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore Avenue, Everett,
<br />Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened
<br />at the Procurement Office on the 9th floor and read aloud publicly via live streaming. Interested parties are
<br />encouraged to watch via live streaming, however, bidders may also attend the bid opening in person. The
<br />engineer’s estimate for this Project is $3,254,847.00
<br />Work to include installation of a new lift station including the vaults, wet well, foundation, roofing, piping,
<br />painting, pumps, buried structures, motors, electrical, instrumentation, communication, force main, new
<br />electrical service, water service and miscellaneous accessories; abandoning existing sewer facilities;
<br />modifications to and installation of new yard piping; restoration of site grading/work, brush removal and
<br />trimming; and the installation of fencing, asphalt, concrete paving and other such appurtenances and performing
<br />all Work as required by the Contract Documents.
<br />Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to
<br />Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects",
<br />"Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online
<br />documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic
<br />sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive
<br />automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders
<br />List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically
<br />check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders Exchange of Washington at
<br />(425) 258-1303 should you require assistance with access or registration.
<br />All bids must be made upon the City forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by a bid bond or
<br />certified check or cashier’s check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid, all
<br />as set forth in the Contract Documents. One hundred percent (100%) Payment and Performance Bonds will be
<br />required of the successful Bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. Optional Pre-Bid meetings
<br />will be held at 3200 Cedar St, Everett WA 98201 on Tuesday March 18 at 10AM and on Tuesday March 25
<br />at 1PM.
<br />The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder
<br />may withdraw its Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, except as may be provided in the Contract
<br />Documents. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
<br />The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a period of forty-five (45) days after bid opening.
<br />The Contractor will be required to comply with all local, State, and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to
<br />equal employment opportunities.
