April 9, 2025 <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Vogeli, seconded by Council Member Bader to authorize the Mayor <br />to sign all necessary documents and agreements with the Washington Association of Sheriffs <br />and Police Chiefs, regarding the acceptance and utilization of the U.S. Department of Justice, <br />Bureau of Justice Assistance Project Safe Neighborhoods Formula Grant Program funds in the <br />amount of $253,900. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Fosse who was <br />excused. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – FLOCK SAFETY® DRONE <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Bader, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 8159, waiving public bidding requirements and approving a multiple-year solesource <br />purchase of Flock Safety ® for Flock Safety ® Drone as a First Responder and Drone Dock, and <br />associated services from Flock Safety for zero cost in the first year for the first drone (and <br />$50,000 for a second drone to allow for full city coverage), and approximately $307,000 per <br />year per drone with radar thereafter. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Vogeli who voted <br />no, and Council Member Fosse who was excused. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT – FLOCK SAFETY ® DRONE <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Bader, to award and authorize <br />the Mayor to sign a product addendum with Flock Safety® for Flock Safety ® Drone as a First <br />Responder and Drone Dock, and associated devices for zero cost in the first year for the first <br />drone (and $50,000 for a second drone to allow full city coverage), and approximately $307,000 <br />per year per drone with radar thereafter, in substantially the form provided. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Vogeli who voted <br />no, and Council Member Fosse who was excused. <br /> <br /> Motion carried.
