The Supercharger <br /> Cabinet reduces power delivery to zero and opens its DC contactors so that the EV connector is de-energized. The <br /> handle remains locked to the charge port until the user presses the handle button, which causes the charge port to <br /> unlatch from the handle. At this point, the user can drive the vehicle away or restart the charging process. <br /> Alternatively, a user can pre-emptively end the charge session by pressing the button on the EV connector handle. The <br /> Supercharger Cabinet reduces power delivery to zero and opens its DC contactors so that the EV connector is de- <br /> energized. The charge port then unlatches from the handle, and the user can remove the EV connector.
