Observed work was being performed by Norkote. The results of observation(s) for today were reported to Josh Starkenburg with Skyline. The construction documents referenced for this inspection include: Fireproofing shop drawings. Summary of Services Inspected the steel substrate prior to application of spray applied fireproofing noted that the existing steel has been scraped to remove loose material and metal lath has been applied. Norkote forman stated that they are going to use a bonding agent on the steel as well prior to applying the spray applied fireproofing. Weather protection was placed and temperature at the time of inspection was 43 degrees. Norkote was aware of the 40 degree minimum and stated that a heater was going to be placed in the enclosure after spraying to heat overnight. Compliance Statement Based on our observations, construction activities at the above referenced locations appeared to be completed in general accordance with the project plans and specifications.
