/NV- <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3036-07 <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project <br /> entitled "Railroad Track Relocation", Fund 303, Program <br /> 064, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and <br /> repealing Ordinance number 2666-02. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned street and road safety <br /> improvement program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has received Federal and State grants for the design <br /> and construction of railroad safety improvements in the vicinity of the landfill site; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 064, <br /> entitled "Railroad Track Relocation", to accumulate all costs for the improvement <br /> project and repealing Ordinance Number 2666-02. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund <br /> 303, Program 064, for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director," under <br /> direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all <br /> tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of $8,820,526.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 064, <br /> "Railroad Track Relocation", as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design and Right-of-Way $ 1,783,650 <br /> Construction $ 7,036,876 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 8,820,526 <br />
