4 ORDINANCE NO. 184 An Ordinance fixing the salaries and compensation to be paid to the several officers of the City of Everett and their assistants, and the employees of said City, repealing Ordinances Nos. 1818, 1822, 1829 and 1838 of said City and declaring an em- ergency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN; a -4 /61 Section 1. That from and after tOMMOOOMOR 1916, the salaries and compensation to be paid to the officers and employees of the City of .Everett herein named shall be as in this Ordinance provided. Section 2. Stenographer to the Commissioners Ninety-seven and 50/100 Dollars (97.50) per month; City Hall Janitor, Ninety-seven and 50/100 Dollars ($97.50) per month. Section 3. City Attorney, One Hundred Ninety Dollars ( 190.00) per month. In addition to the .Dove salary the City Attorney shall be allowed the sum of t20.00 per month as office rent and Ninety- seven and 50/100 Dollars (U97 .50) per month as stenographer hire. Section 4. City Clerk,One Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ( 165.00) per month; Deputy City Clerk, One Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($125.00) per month; Stenographer, Ninety-seven and 50/100 Dollars ($97. 50) per month. Section 5. City Treasurer, One Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($165.00) per month; Deputy City Treasurer, One Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($125.00) per month; Stenographer, Ninety-seven and 50/100 Dollars ( 97 .50) per month. Section 6. Police Department. Captains, One Hundred Thirty- five Dollars ($135 .00) per month; Sergeants, One Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($125 .00) per month; Detectives, One Hundred Twenty-five Dollars per month ($125 .00) ; Dry-squad men, Ons Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ( ,125.00) per month; Patrolman, One Hundred Twenty Dollars ( '12®.00) per month; Motorcycle policeman, One Hundred Twenty Dollars (1)
