April 16, 2025 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m. April 16, 2025, <br />by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin, and Council Members Zarlingo, Fosse, Bader, <br />Rhyne, Tuohy, and President Schwab were present. Council Member Vogeli was excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the April 9, 2025 meeting were approved. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli arrived at 6:32 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin attended the Wendt & Mayor’s Arts Awards, and congratulated Leland Dart for <br />winning the “Art is Making an Impact Award” and former Council Member Brenda Stonecipher <br />for winning the “Richard & Nancy Wendt Award of Excellence”. She also attended Congressman <br />Larsen’s roundtable on transportation and infrastructure. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The Council received no written comments, and the following members of the public spoke: <br />Alvaro Guillen, Esmeralda Rivas, Melinda Cervantes, Veronica Martinez, Yajaira Avalos, <br />Yisethelaine Leon, Paola Sabogal, Silvia Mendoza, Liliana Alfaro, Lawrence Eastlick, Robin Olson, <br />Leanne Roe, Linda War Bonnet and Josef Stremick. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />All council members thanked the public commentors. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader attended the Everett Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne attended the Wendt & Mayor’s Arts Awards, the Port Gardner <br />Neighborhood Association Meeting, and the Valley View Neighborhood Association Meeting. <br />
