Please review and respond to the comments below.
ARCHITECTURAL
1. On Sheet A3.08, it is unclear if the battery storage room is intended to
contain enough batteries such that the incidental use of Table 509 is triggered.
Please confirm or clarify as it may require providing 1 hourfire resistive
construction to the room and ceiling. IBC 509.
STRUCTURAL
1. On Sheet 52.0, it Is unclear if the wall along Grid 5 between Grids J, K and
possibly further east is intended to be a shear wall. It appears to be a drafting
error or rendering issue on the plans given that there is a shear wall callout of 4.
Also, the same condition of rendering may be occurring along Grid K between
Grids 3 & 5 for shear walls (a callout of 3) resisting in the North -South direction.
Please clarify extents and rendering of the wall and revised plans as required.
IBC 107.2.1.
RESUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS
In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary
to provide the Building Division with the following items:
PERMIT SERVICES
❑ (2) New, complete sets of revised construction documents reflecting
the corrections as required.
Q3200 Cedar Street
❑ (1) Response letter detailing how the corrections were resolved.
Everett, WA 98201
All codes cited refer to the 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2018
425.257.88
O425.257.8857 fax
International Existing Building Code (IEBC), the 2018 International Fire Code
(IFC), the 2018 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and/or the 2018
® everetteps@everettwa.gov
Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington
everettwa.gov/permits
and adopted by the City of Everett.
