Representative
samples were selected for laboratory testing consisting of moisture content and sieve analyses. The tests
were performed in general accordance with test methods of ASTM International (ASTM)or other applicable
procedures.
Moisture Content
Moisture content tests of selected samples were completed in s,:r;:ral accordance with ASTM D 2216.The
results of these tests are presented on the exploration los+; in Apo-ndix A at the depths at which the
samples were obtained.
Sieve Analyses
Sieve analyses were performed on selected sampL in general accordance wi'i '\STM D 422. The wet
sieve analysis method was used to determine the peru ,n age of :.il greater than lira I.S.
