Transit’s Inductive Charging Infrastructure Projects provide for the installation of
bus charging capability in support of the City’s green infrastructure goals and expansion of its
electric bus fleet.
As part of this initiative, one inductive charging location was to be located at the future Eclipse
Mill Park. Due to unforeseen site conditions discovered at the Park in July 2024 a decision was
made to not proceed further with the installation of the charging infrastructure at the Park. This
charging infrastructure project will re-locate to an alternative location in 2025/2026.
Recommendation (exact action requested of Council):
Authorize the Mayor to sign Change Order No. 3 to close the Eclipse Mill Park Inductive Charging
Infrastructure Project.
City Council Agenda Item Cover Sheet
