March 30, 2016 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., March 30, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. Upon roll <br /> call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br /> Murphy, Franklin, Bader, and Stonecipher were present. Council Members <br /> Moore and Tuohy were excused <br /> Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 23, 2016, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson proclaimed April 9, 2016 as "Rose Margaretich Day" in <br /> celebration of her 100th birthday and presented a proclamation to Rose <br /> Margaretich. <br /> Family members thanked the Mayor and the City Council. <br /> APPOINTMENTS / REAPPOINTMENTS <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, to concur with the following appointment: <br /> Charter Review Committee <br /> Appointment of Mark Nesse for an unexpired term to end on or <br /> about June 1, 2016. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Moore and Tuohy who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Stephanson provided a brief update on Legislature works and state <br /> funding for low-barrier housing, a new agriculture degree program through <br /> 102 <br />
