April 6, 2016 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., April 6, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. Upon roll <br /> call, it was found that Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Bader, <br /> Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Mayor Stephanson and Council <br /> Member Franklin were excused. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 30, 2016, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. Council Members Moore and Tuohy abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson was excused. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Moore provided a liaison report for the Council Budget <br /> Subcommittee meeting held this evening. He announced that the 2017 <br /> budget calendar will be available soon for viewing on the City of Everett <br /> website. <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked Port of Everett CEO/Executive Director <br /> Les Reardanz and his staff for providing an opportunity to tour Port <br /> properties. <br /> President Murphy announced that citizens will have an opportunity to learn <br /> more about the Sound Transit 3 (ST3) proposal at an open house to be <br /> held at Everett Station on April 25, 2016, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. <br /> Presentations begin at 6:00 p.m. Information about submitting comments <br /> may be found by visiting www.soundtransit.org. <br /> President Murphy announced that he would be leaving the Council <br /> meeting at approximately 7:15 p.m. for a speaking engagement, and that <br /> Vice President Tuohy would preside over the remainder of the meeting. <br /> 109 <br />
