In accordance with the Public Amenities Master Plan for <br /> the Riverfront Development, construction will include creating tidally-influenced channels and habitat berms <br /> within the existing degraded wetland. These channels will connect to the Snohomish River through <br /> excavation of the existing river dike. Creosote-treated wood piling will be removed from the river at these <br /> channel connections. <br /> This project is a City commitment in the Property Disposition Agreement for the Riverfront Development. <br /> The sources of funds for this project are: <br /> Fund 308 —Riverfront Development $496,903.00 <br /> Total $496,903.00 <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize a call for bids for the Riverfront Development—North Wetland Complex Project, to construct <br /> wetland enhancements. <br /> 21 <br />
