That Sec . 12 of Ordinance 7o.1695 of the city of <br /> 1terett as a .ended by Ordinance Uo. 1g26 of said City be, and the <br /> sar:e is, hereby ae nded to read as follows: <br /> "Section 12 . It Shall be unieeful for any person to <br /> have in his possession or upon his person any intoxicating <br /> liquors wh.atee ver; erovided, cw-ver, ihet ' his section <br /> shall not eeply to rezi stered phar eacists or to persons <br /> keeping alcohol for mechanical or cheaical purposes only; <br /> and provided frther, thet a person nay have in his possession, <br /> at his hone, not :.:ore than twelve (12) luarts of beer nor <br /> Lore than Two (2) quarts of intoxicating liquor other than <br /> beer, if said excepted quantity was obtained by him upon <br /> a sale leg1 and valid under the Laws of the State of 'rash- <br /> ington and the United States, and provided further that in <br /> any prosecutions under this Section the possession of any <br /> quantity of ir_toxi cLting liquor whatsoever shall be prima <br /> facie evidence that said liquors were kept unlawfully.
