Attachment A <br />Scope of Services <br />The Service Provider will build upon the ecosystem required to support entrepreneurs and <br />innovation in Everett. <br />The Service Provider will provide support of entrepreneurs and inventors by providing direct <br />technical assistance to entrepreneurs located in Everett or establishing their business in <br />Everett and will identify mentors who can be of assistance to the entrepreneurs and <br />inventors in Everett. <br />The Service Provider will create cohort and accelerator programs that will aid <br />entrepreneurs and small businesses with skills to integrate new technologies into their <br />products to be more competitive in the digital economy. <br />The Service Provider will create informational presentations for entrepreneurs, small <br />businesses, community and government groups about the fast developing technologies. <br />These will include Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality technologies. <br />The Service Provider will assist new businesses starting their businesses in Everett to <br />understand options for accessing private capital. It will aide entrepreneurs and inventors to <br />prepare materials required by the funding sources. The Service Provider will also assist with <br />identifying additional potential investors for Everett based startups. <br />The Service Provider will utilize its partnership with CleanTech Alliance, Maritime Blue and <br />Washington Technology Industry Association partnerships to add resources for the Everett <br />ecosystem. It will further partner with Education Institutions, Port of Everett, Economic <br />Alliance of Snohomish County, Business Leaders and others to complete activities which <br />will contribute to a sustainable entrepreneurial environment in Everett including working <br />with WSU students to encourage entrepreneurial activity in the area; work with the Everett <br />Community College AMTEC program to evaluate commercial potential of activities of the <br />students’ capstone projects. The Service Provider will work with Workforce Snohomish to <br />provide training support for dislocated Boeing workers. <br />Service Provider is granted a permanent non-exclusive license to re-use intellectual <br />property created by Service provider under this Agreement, so long as the re-used <br />intellectual property does not reference the City unless the City gives permission.
