Any Principal who has designated more than one representative to the <br />caucus, and is unable to unanimously decide where to place their vote, <br />at the time the vote is called, shall forfeit their vote. <br />v. Voting by proxy will not be allowed. <br />vi. No Principal may have an elected official or staff member hold more <br />than one (1) Governing Board seat in a single caucus unless there are <br />more seats than Principals in the caucus. <br />vii. The Secretary shall record the votes of the caucus, confirming the <br />individuals to whom the caucus’s Board seats are to be allocated for <br />the next term of office. This record shall be included in the next <br />regularly scheduled board meeting packet. <br /> <br /> <br />b. The number of Governing Board Members to be selected by each caucus shall <br />be as follows: <br /> <br />Police Agencies (10 Board Members) <br />Caucus 1: Largest Agencies (Currently <br />Snohomish County is the only member) <br />2 Governing Board Members, one of <br />which must be the County Sheriff or an <br />assistant or deputy sheriff directly <br />reporting to the Sheriff – unless or until <br />the County is no longer the Largest Policy <br />Agency (in terms of Population Served), <br />in which case the two board members <br />shall be selected as per Caucus 2. <br />Caucus 2: Next Largest Police Agencies 2 Governing Board Members, of which <br />one must be operational staff and one <br />must be an elected official <br />Caucus 3: Medium Police Agencies 3 Governing Board Members, of which <br />one must be an operational staff and one <br />must be an elected official <br />Caucus 4: Small Police Agencies 3 Governing Board Members, of which <br />one must be an operational staff and one <br />of must be an elected official <br /> <br />
