overspray. Reasonable precautions include, but are not limited to the use of: <br />(1) Enclosures and curtailment during high winds; and <br />(2) High-volume low-pressure (HVLP), low-volume low-pressure (LVLP), electrostatic, <br />or air-assisted airless spray equipment. Airless spray equipment may be used <br />where low viscosity and high solid coatings preclude the use of higher-transfer <br />efficiency spray equipment. <br />(e) Compliance with Other Regulations. Compliance with this regulation does not exempt any <br />person from compliance with Regulation I, Section 9.11 and all other applicable <br />regulations including those of other agencies. <br />SECTION 9.20 MAINTENANCE OF EQUIPMENT Adopted 12/09/82 (531) <br />Revised 06/09/88 (621) <br />(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to cause or allow the operation of any features, <br />machines or devices constituting parts of or called for by plans, specifications, or other <br />information submitted pursuant to Article 6 of Regulation I unless such features, <br />machines or devices are maintained in good working order. <br />(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to cause or allow the operation of any equipment as <br />defined in Section 1.07 or control equipment not subject to Section 9.20(a) unless the <br />equipment or control equipment is maintained in good working order.
