Previous build #2205-3 <br />BraunNW (jg/jw) 26 of 34 Everett Fire Dept. <br />5-5-25 Original build #/2205-3 Remount Specification <br /> <br /> . <br />6.17T BASIC EXTERIOR LIGHTING <br />Transfer existing tail/stop, turn, back-up lights. <br />Transfer third brake light included with rear upper flashers (Section 6.30.02 related). <br />Install new Truck-Lite #36 LED module identification, clearance, and side marker lights. <br />6.18X COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT <br />Vehicle owner is responsible for repowering and tuning equipment. <br />Item #1 <br />Description: Transfer one existing Motorola APX 6500 800MHz transceiver, remote head, <br />mic, auxiliary speaker, antenna. <br />Locations: <br />•A remote head with bracket on top of the dashboard, near center of dash with speaker <br />mounted behind the driver’s seat, lower <br />•Radio transceiver in Squad Bench with Storage #17 <br />Additional Instructions: Make all connections including antenna, antenna cable(s), <br />battery power and/or ignition power, and grounds. Radio power and grounds shall be <br />connected to the appropriate Blue Sea fuse blocks in Cabinet #17 Prior to powering up of <br />the module, remove and secure to fuse holders all in-line fuses of radio equipment. <br />Reference build 3162-3 <br />Item #2 <br />Description: Transfer existing Firecom system, including intercom, two headset jacks, two <br />headset hooks. <br />Locations: <br />•Intercom in Bench Seat with Storage #17 <br />•Two headset jacks with hooks on back of cab wall; one each behind driver and <br />passenger seat <br />Additional Instructions: Make all connections including battery power and grounds <br />battery hot. Connect to Motorola APX 6500 800 MHz transceiver in Bench Sear with <br />Storage #17. <br />Item #3 <br />Description: Transfer a split bus fuse block for customer-supplied-and-installed <br />equipment. <br />Location: <br />•In Bench Seat with Storage #17 <br />Additional Instructions: Label and functionally wire each fuse block, circuit in electrical <br />panel. Install 30 amp automatic reset breaker wired ignition hot, and a 40 amp automatic <br />reset breaker wired battery hot.
