• ORDINANCE NO. 1821 An ordinance providing for the establishment of the grade of Hill Avenue between the south margin of Pacific Avenue and the north margin of Thirty-second Street, and of portions of Pacific Avenue from the west margin of Cedar Street to the southwest corner of Block 691, replat of Block 691 Everett Land Company' s First Addi- tion; and from Cedar Street to the northwest corner of Block 746 of Everett Land Company' s First Addition, and declaring an emergency. WHEREAS, the city council of Everett has determined and hereby does determine that public necessity demands that the grade of Hill Avenue from Pacific Avenue to Thirty-second Street, and of Pacific Avenue from Cedar Street westerly to the southwest corner of Block 691 along the northerly side of said pacific Avenue, and from Cedar Street to the northwest corner of Block 746 Everett Land Company's First Addition along the southerly side of said pacific Avenue, be established, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the grade of Hill Avenue from the south margin of Pacific Avenue to the north margin of Thirty-second Street be establish- ed at the following elevations: At the intersection of the west gutter line of Hill Avenue with the south margin of Pacific Avenue, 154.30 feet; at the intersection of the west gutter line of Hill Avenue with the north margin of Thirty- second Street, 151.0o feet; at the intersection of the east gutter line of Hill Avenue with the south margin of Pacific Avenue 154.20 feet; at the intersection of the east gutter line of Hill Avente with the north margin Of Thirty-second Street 150.90 feet; Section 2: That the grade of the south side of Pacific Avenue from the west margin of Cedar Street to the northwest corner of Block 746 Everett Land Company's First Addition be established at the follow- . ing elevations: At the west margin of Cedar Street 152.10 feet; at the east margin of Fulton Street 153.15 feet; at a point 20 feet north of the northeast corner of Block 747 Everett Land Company' s First Addition 153.50 feet; 4
