r , ORDINANCE NO. 1814 An ordinance providing for the improvement of Norton Avenue Extension from the north end of the trestle now constructed on said Norton Avenue Extension to a point 171.76 feet northeast of the intersection of the east line of Section 7, Township 29 North, Range 5 East, W.M. with the west line of the Northern Pacific Railway Company's right-of-way produced, by the complete construc- tion of a pile trestle and roadway, and doing such other work as may be necessary to make a complete improvement, approving the plans and specifications for such improvement, creating an assess- ment district, creating a local improvement district fund there- for, and providing for the payment of said improvement by special assessments upon the property in said district under the mode of "Payment by Bonds*. WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 2565 of the city of Everett, the city "council of said city has declared its intention to order the improvement of Norton Avenue Extension from the north end of the trestle now constructed on said Norton Avenue Exten- sion to a point 171. 76 feet northeast of the intersection of the east line of Section 7, Township 29 North, Range 5 East,W.M. with the west line of the Northern pacific Railway Company's right-of-way produced, in accordance with the plans prepared by the city engineer, NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Norton Avenue Extension from the north end of the trestle now constructed on said Norton Avenue Extension to a point 171.76 feet northeast of the intersection of the east line of Section 7, Township 29 North, Range 5 East, W.M. with the west line of the Northern Pacific Railway Company's right- of-way produced, be improved by complete construction of a pile trestle and roadway, and such other work as may be necessary to make a complete improvement, such improvement to be made according to plans and specifications prepared under the direc- tion of the city engineer and now on file in the office of the oity engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, including the necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment
