The source of funds for this project is Fund 342, Program <br />50 (CIP-1) as identified in the CIP-1 funding model. <br /> <br />All related permitting and construction costs are estimated at $127,000. <br /> <br />Project summary statement: <br />Plans and specifications have been prepared for the Police Firing Range Renovations Project to <br />the satisfaction of the Parks & Facilities Department. <br />The existing Firing Range Building needs structural roof repairs. In addition to the structural <br />repairs, the roofline will be extended to provide additional covered area for Police staff. The <br />container storage unit will be retrofitted with insulated panels, venting and a split unit HVAC <br />system to properly preserve all ammunition and equipment from excessive heat and moisture <br />levels. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Adopt an Ordinance creating a Special Construction Project entitled “Police Firing Range <br />Renovations Project”, Fund 342, Program 50, to accumulate all permitting and construction costs <br />for the renovation project in the amount of $127,000. <br /> <br /> <br />
