i <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1-80f; <br /> An ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1749 of <br /> the city of Everett "providing for the organization of the water <br /> nepartment of Everett, providing rules and regulations for the <br /> control of said Water Department, fixing, regulating and con- <br /> trolling the use and price of water supplied by said Everett, <br /> repealing Ordinance No. 1739 and all other ordinances in con- <br /> flict with any of the provisions hereof, and declaring an emerg- <br /> ency". <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1749 of the <br /> city of Everett, be and the same is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 4: The salaries of officers and employees in <br /> said department shall be as follows: Superintendent, one hundred <br /> fifty dollars per month; foreman of construction and maintenance, <br /> one hundred fifteen dollars per month; cashier, ninety dollars per <br /> month; assistant cashier, for first year of service, seventy <br /> dollars per month; second year and thereafter seventy-five dollars <br /> per month; blacksmith,ninety dollars per month; pipe fitters, for <br /> first year of service, three dollars and twenty-five cents per <br /> day each; second year and thereafter, three dollars and fifty <br /> cents per day each; inspectors, for first year of service seven- <br /> ty-five dollars per month each; second year and thereafter, eighty <br /> dollars per month each; pump operator, for first year of service <br /> seven+y-five dollars per month; second year and thereafter eighty <br /> dollars per month; time and store-keeper, eighty-five dollars per <br /> month; laborers, three dollars per day each.
