I did look at the W for
the property, and it indicates to reference the pic's attached—but there are no attachments. If you wish
to forward this email to Code Enforcement, that's fine; I just don't see that he is looking for a response.
Tawnya
From: David Whitesell <dlwhitesell@frontier.com>
Sent:Thursday, September 17, 2020 4:42 PM
To: Engineering/ Public Services (PW)<evteps@everettwa.gov>
Cc: Sabrina Fandler<SFandler@everettwa.gov>
Subject: House at 4724 West View Drive
This house was being remodeled when some kind of a "stop work" order was allegedly initiated.
Unknown the reason, probably some permit infraction. This was about five to six months ago.The house
stands vacant, open, no work being done and will be susceptible to vermin invasion, both animal and
human, if this hasn't already happened. It has become an eye sore and is affecting neighborhood
appearance and property values. There's a property across the street that has been for sale for some
time, part of the reason could be this eye sore.
This house was being remodeled after a serious fire over a year ago that killed the owner at the time.
Work needs to get on and any dispute between your department and the current owner(who I do not
know) needs to be resolved/settled. Hopefully you didn't fine him into indebtedness to the point he has
no money left to finish it.
Thank you,
Dave Whitesell
