SNO-ISLE TECH 2O23 SMALL WORKS Section 00 70 00, Page 20 <br />McGRANAHAN ARCHITECTS GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples and similar Submittals presented to the Architect by the <br />Contractor contain deviations from requirements of the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall, in <br />writing, designate such deviations at the time of submittal and subsequent resubmittals. <br />3.13.6 The Contractor shall perform no portion of the Work requiring submittal and review of Shop <br />Drawings, Product Data, Samples or similar submittals until the respective submittal has been reviewed <br />by the Architect as provided in Subparagraph 4.2.7. Such Work shall be in accordance with accepted <br />submittals. <br />3.13.7 By approving and submitting Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples and similar submittals, the <br />Contractor represents that the Contractor has determined and verified materials, field measurements and <br />field construction criteria related thereto, or will do so, and has checked and coordinated the information <br />contained within such submittals with the requirements of the Work and of the Contract Documents. <br />Corrections required to bring Shop Drawings into conformance with the intent of the Contract <br />Documents shall not be cause for extension of time or cost. <br />3.13.8 The Contractor shall not be relieved of responsibility for deviations from requirements of the <br />Contract Documents by the Architect's review of Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples or similar <br />submittals unless the Contractor -has specifically informed the Architect and Owner in writing of such <br />deviation at the time of submittal and the Owner has given written approval to the specific deviation. <br />The Contractor shall not be relieved of responsibility for errors or omissions in the Shop Drawings, <br />Product Data, Samples or similar submittals by the Architect's review thereof. Any corrections or <br />modifications to Shop Drawings made by the Architect shall be deemed accepted by the Contractor, <br />without change in Contract Sum or Time, unless the Contractor provides the Architect with written notice <br />before commencing any work from such Shop Drawings. The Contractor shall make all corrections <br />requested by the Architect and provide a corrected Submittal without change in Contract Sum or Contract <br />Time unless it deviates from Contract Documents. <br />3.13.9 The Contractor shall direct specific attention, in writing or on resubmitted Shop Drawings, <br />Product Data, Samples or similar submittals to revisions other than those requested by the Architect on <br />previous submittals. <br />3.13.10 Informational submittals upon which the Architect is not expected to take responsive action <br />may be so identified in the Contract Documents. <br />3.13.11 When professional certification of performance criteria of materials, systems or equipment is <br />required by the Contract Documents, the Architect shall be entitled to rely upon the accuracy and <br />completeness of such calculations and certifications. The Contractor shall make any required corrections <br />and shall resubmit the required number of corrected shop drawings, samples or submittals. Resubmittals <br />necessitated by required corrections shall not be a cause for extension in time. <br />mcg-ARC 2120.000 February 28, 2023 <br />
