The <br /> triangular strip should angle away from the <br /> sauna so that water flows from the C <br /> shingles off the sauna. This will be the <br /> lowest point on your sauna's shingles. <br /> 20 <br /> Step 17: Install the First Row of <br /> Shingles <br /> Use a knife or scissors to cut the tiles so <br /> the first row has a straight edge on both <br /> sides. There is a backing layer on the <br /> shingle strips. Peel off this backing layer Tear the <br /> before placing the shingles on the sauna. protective fi lrn <br /> CUT <br /> You may need to cut the shingle strips H <br /> short at the end so that the shingles match <br /> and fully cover the roof of the sauna. <br /> Attach the first row of shingles to the <br /> triangular wood strip you attached in the <br /> previous step. We recommend using a nail <br /> gun with V roofer's nails as this will be the <br /> fastest assembly method. We provide <br /> screws + washers that can be used if you <br /> do not have a nail gun.
