H" C MODIFicAmoNS
1) General Notes
a) HVAC testing completed on 11-20-24.
b) Design information was available and space design flows were not Field Engineered.
c) TAB work was in accordance with NEBB/TABB procedural standards.
d) Outlet volumetric flow rates were measured by use of a calibrated 880-c Air Data Meter. / Evergreen Tel./ Testo
e) Basic "not to scale" pictures were made of the air distribution systems as needed beyond the provided drawings
and specifications
f) Motors of fans which did not list pF (power factor) or Eff (efficiency) ratings on their nameplate had its
associated fan's BHP (Brake Horsepower) approximated by using a nominal 0.9 pF and 0.8 Eff in the BHP
calculation. Actual BHP's may vary slightly in this condition.
2) Scope of work
a) Evaluate the existing system for safety, performance and if it effective in its design intent
b) Balance is limited in scope to just what was modified and not the entirety of the systems
c) Test and Balance of the outlets and select other inlets
d) Advise as to options for meeting desired goal if the facility fails to meet the code required performance
requirements
3) Description of the System
a) Existing FCU's 201 Return inlets only, 202 Supply only, 203 Supply only and select DOAS inlets and outlets
b) Associated Duct work with wall mounted thermostats
4) Test Procedures Summarized
a) Verified system is complete, safe, powered and ready for testing
b) Measure all system outlets for total
c) Balance to design values as required
d) Document the findings and provide a certified report per contract documents
5) Findings and observations.
a) See attached data for notes
b) Further balance efforts may be required to achieve space comfort after temporary walls come down and the
space is fully utilized.
6) Suggestions (Need to be fully evaluated and vetted for merit by all interested parties involved)
a) None currently
