SECTION IV: CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER POLLUTION
PREVENTION PLAN
This Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) has been prepared as part of
the Construction stormwater permit requirements for the project Maverick 2 in Everett,
WA. It is located in Section 06, Township 28 North, and Range 5 East of the Willamette
Meridian in the City of Everett, Washington. The site is currently developed with a home
and a gravel driveway from Wetmore Ave. The remainder of the site exists as lawn and
native vegetation. The site contains one drainage basin that that slopes slightly to the east.
Please refer to the downstream analysis map for more details. Per NRCS survey of
Snohomish County, the project site contains Alderwood soils that have a hydrologic
classification of Type "C". The proposal for the project is to subdivide the site into two lots
and build a new garage on Lot 1 and a new single-family residence on Lot 2 with
associated utilities. The access to this site will be from Wetmore Ave. The proposal also
includes frontage improvements along Wetmore Ave.
Minimum requirements 1-5 apply to the project because the project Lot's effective
impervious area is 3,823 SF which is less than 5,000 SF.
1. The purpose of this SWPPP is to describe the proposed construction
activities and all temporary and permanent erosion and sediment
control (TESC) measures, pollution prevention measures,
inspection/monitoring activities, and recordkeeping that will be
implemented during the proposed construction project. The
objectives of the SWPPP are to:
2. Implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) to prevent erosion
and sedimentation, and to identify, reduce, eliminate, or prevent
stormwater contamination and water pollution from construction
activity.
3. Prevent violations of surface water quality, ground water quality, or
sediment management standards.
4. Prevent, during the construction phase, adverse water quality
impacts including impacts on beneficial uses of the receiving water
by controlling peak flow rates and volumes of stormwater runoff at
the Permittee's outfalls and downstream of the outfalls.
Insight Engineering Co. — Stormwater Site Plan 05/31/2022
-14-
