Please review and respond to the comments below. Mechanical 1. The following comments apply to Elevator Machinery Room 130: a. The makeup air should be from the exterior of the building. Section 3005.2 b. The walls separating the room from the remainder of the building are two-hour fire barriers per Section 3005.4 i. A fire damper should be provided for the duct penetration into the room by FCU 1 as shown on Sheet MB101.N. Section 717.5.2 2. The following comments apply to the IDF rooms on floors 2-6: a. The rooms should not receive their supply air from the corridor. Section 1020.5 b. The duct penetration into the rooms from the corridor should be protected by smoke dampers. Section 717.5.4.1, Item 3 In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved.
