1. Concrete wastewater <br /> 2. Wastewater from washout and clean-up of stucco, paint,form release oils, curing <br /> compounds and other construction materials. <br /> 3. Process wastewater as defined by 40 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 122.2 (See <br /> Appendix A of this permit). <br /> 4. Slurry materials and waste from shaft drilling, including process wastewater from shaft <br /> drilling for construction of building, road, and bridge foundations unless managed <br /> according to Special Condition S9.D.9.j. <br /> 5. Fuels, oils, or other pollutants used in vehicle and equipment operation and <br /> maintenance. <br /> 6. Soaps or solvents used in vehicle and equipment washing. <br /> 7. Wheel wash wastewater, unless managed according to Special Condition S9.D.9. <br /> 8. Discharges from dewatering activities, including discharges from dewatering of trenches <br /> and excavations, unless managed according to Special Condition S9.D.10. <br /> E. Limits on Coverage <br /> Ecology may require any discharger to apply for and obtain coverage under an individual permit <br /> or another more specific general permit. Such alternative coverage will be required when <br /> Ecology determines that this CSWGP does not provide adequate assurance that water quality <br /> will be protected, or there is a reasonable potential for the project to cause or contribute to a <br /> violation of water quality standards. <br /> The following stormwater discharges are not covered by this permit: <br /> 1. Post-construction stormwater discharges that originate from the site after completion of <br /> construction activities and the site has undergone final stabilization. <br /> 2. Non-point source silvicultural activities such as nursery operations, site preparation, <br /> reforestation and subsequent cultural treatment, thinning, prescribed burning, pest and <br /> fire control, harvesting operations, surface drainage, or road construction and <br /> maintenance, from which there is natural runoff as excluded in 40 CFR Subpart 122. <br /> 3. Stormwater from any federal operator. <br /> 4. Stormwater from facilities located on Indian Country as defined in 18 U.S.C.§1151, <br /> except portions of the Puyallup Reservation as noted below. <br /> Indian Country includes: <br /> a. All land within any Indian Reservation notwithstanding the issuance of any patent, <br /> and, including rights-of-way running through the reservation.This includes all <br /> federal, tribal, and Indian and non-Indian privately owned land within the <br /> reservation. <br /> b. All off-reservation Indian allotments,the Indian titles to which have not been <br /> extinguished, including rights-of-way running through the same. <br /> c. All off-reservation federal trust lands held for Native American Tribes. <br /> Construction Stormwater General Permit Page 5 <br />
