June 4, 2025 <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BRIEFING: <br /> <br /> Everett 2044 Periodic Update <br />Presented by Yorik Stevens-Wajda, Planning <br /> <br />The following members of the public spoke: Jean Saiti-Hewat. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo provided updates on the Council’s portion of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Considerable discussion ensued with Yorik Stevens-Wajda answering council questions. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy moved to rezone Madrona Ave from Mukilteo Boulevard North, including <br />both sides, between Howarth Park to Glenwood Creek corridor be zoned as Neighborhood <br />Residential Constrained. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Zarlingo, to amend the <br />proposed zoning map for parcels on both sides of Madrona Avenue to the Neighborhood <br />Residential-Constrained Zone. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Fosse who was <br />excused and Council Member Vogeli who abstained. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />President Schwab moved to rezone four parcels around Phil Johnson Ballfields Field to Parks and <br />Open Space. <br /> <br />Moved by President Schwab, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to amend the proposed <br />zoning for four parcels around and including Phil Johnson Ballfields Field east of Sievers Duecy <br />Blvd, known as the Cemex Transfer Lots to the Parks and Open Space zone. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Fosse who was <br />excused. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />
