The following information was examined:
• City of Everett Critical Areas Map (City of Everett GIS, November 2013)
• National Wetlands Inventory map of project area - online version located at:
http://www.fws.gov/wetiands/Data/mapper.html
• Web Soil Swvey (USDA) located at: http://www.or.nres.usda.gov/pnw_soil/wa_reports.html
• Snohomish County Landscape Imaging "Snoscape" website located at:
http://gis.snoco.org/maps/snoscape/viewer.htm
• National List of Vascular Plant Species that Occur in Wetlands: 1996 National Summary
Indicator by Region and Subregion (USFWS, March 2, 1997)
• WDFW Priority Habitats and Species Maps — online version located at:
http: / /wdfw.wa.gov/mapping/phs/
The city of Everett's Critical Areas Map identified three wetlands in the property immediately east
of the subject site and a small stream channel flowing to the south. WRI's findings were generally
consistent with the city's maps, except that two of the mapped wetlands are likely connected as one
headwater wetland system. No other critical areas have been identified on -site or in the vicinity.
WETLAND CLASSIFICATIONS - COWARDIN SYSTEM
According to the Cowardin System, as described in Classification of Wetlands and Dee water
Habitats of the United States, the classification for the subject wetlands are:
Wetland A: Palustrine, Forested, Deciduous, Seasonally Flooded/Saturated
Wetland B: Palustrine, Forested, Deciduous, Seasonally Flooded/Saturated
WETLAND CLASSIFICATIONS — CITY OF EVERETT
Under EMC, Chapter 37, wetlands are classified under the Washington State Department of
Ecology (DOE) Wetland Rating Form — Westen 141ashinglon (August 2004, Version 2-Updated).
