2025 FEDERAL OVERLAY, W MUKILTEO BLVD – GLENWOOD AVE TO DOGWOOD DR <br /> PAGE SP107 OF SP123 SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />WORK ORDER #3842 April 15, 2025 FEDERAL AID# NHPP-2776(011) <br />The TI BPL2 EDGE board shall have a reset button on the front panel to reset 1 <br />the thermal sensors to “learn” the roadway image. During “learn”, selectable 2 <br />recall can be enabled or disabled for immediate operation. Learning time of 3 <br />video detectors shall be less than 6 minutes. 4 <br /> 5 <br />The video detection sensor and TI BPL2 EDGE card shall have internal surge 6 <br />suppression. 7 <br /> 8 <br />The BPL2 EDGE board shall have separate light emitting diodes (LEDs) that 9 <br />indicate: 10 <br /> 11 <br />POWER LED to verify power and reboot TI board 12 <br />POWER LED to verify sensor power and reboot sensors 13 <br />PIM Dual color status LED for PIM Connection 14 <br />OUTPUT Status LED if the corresponding detection group is active 15 <br />INPUT Status LED if the corresponding detection group is active 16 <br />8 BPL Sensors Dual color LED Status 17 <br />RJ45 The TI BPL2 EDGE card has 2 RJ45 connectors 18 <br />(10/100Mbit/s auto switching) 19 <br />USB 2 USB ports for connection to 4 I/O USB 20 <br />expansion boards 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 <br />The 4 I/O USB Expansion board shall also have separate LEDs that indicate: 24 <br /> 25 <br />POWER Power LED 26 <br /> OUTPUT LED to indicate Output Status 27 <br /> INPUT LED to indicate Input Status 28 <br />Rotary Rotary Switch that defines output numbers 29 <br /> 30 <br />Event Log Database 31 <br /> 32 <br />The thermal traffic detector system shall store an onboard database capable 33 <br />of time stamping and storing 500 events. The Event Log Database can be 34 <br />viewed or downloaded as a comma separated value (csv) file and Extensible 35 <br />Markup Language (xml) file. Erasure of the Event Log Database shall not alter 36 <br />programmed configurations. As a minimum, the thermal traffic detector shall 37 <br />log and time stamp the following events: 38 <br /> 39 <br />· Firmware upgrade 40 <br />· Loss of signal 41 <br />· Resumption of signal 42 <br />· Configuration change 43 <br />· Bad thermal quality 44 <br />· Loss of power to thermal traffic sensor 45 <br />· Resumption of power to thermal traffic sensor 46 <br />· Recall activated 47
