SAGE HOMES NORTHWEST, LLC
HARBORS EDGE DRAINAGE REPORT
AUGUST 2022
8.6 ELEMENT 6 - PROTECT SLOPES
The slopes will be protected with temporary and permanent seeding, plastic covering, or other
methods for stabilizing soils.
8.7 ELEMENT 7 - PROTECT DRAIN INLETS
Catch basin inlet protection devices will be placed in all nearby catch basins. These will be identified
in the TESC plan of the final engineering drawings.
8.8 ELEMENT 8 - STABILIZE CHANNELS AND OUTLETS
All temporary channels proposed for the project shall be stabilized with rock or vegetation if signs of
erosion are observed by the project's erosion/sediment control lead.
8.9 ELEMENT 9 - CONTROL POLLUTANTS
The project is relatively small and is not expected to store contaminants onsite for an extended
period of time. Any contaminants that are stored onsite should be protected from vandalism or theft.
Maintenance, fueling, and repair of construction equipment should be conducted offsite to the
greatest possible extent. A concrete washout area shall be provided to keep concrete wash -water
from entering the public storm drainage system.
8.10 ELEMENT 10 - CONTROL DE -WATERING
No significant dewatering is expected to be needed on this project.
8.11 ELEMENT 11- MAINTAIN BMPS
The project shall identify personnel to serve as an erosion/sediment control lead, who can monitor all
BMPs at the site and recommend revisions and new BMPs as needed.
8.12 ELEMENT 12 - MANAGE THE PROJECT
The project shall identify personnel to serve as an erosion/sediment control lead, who can monitor
site conditions, BMP performance, and recommend revisions as site conditions change.
8.13 ELEMENT 13 - PROTECT LOW -IMPACT DEVELOPMENT BMPS
This element is primarily intended to protect areas where infiltration -based BMPs from compaction
occur during construction activities. This is not applicable as there is no infiltration on this project.
9. WETLANDS PROTECTION
There is a wetland on the south side of the project that will be filled in. This wetland appears to be a seep
wetland that doesn't store any volume. See Appendix F for elevations around the wetland. As the figure
in Appendix F shows, the wetland doesn't appear to store in runoff, therefore no additional dead storage
was provided. See the Critical Areas Report for details.
PACG / PAGE 21
