Responses are as follows: BUILDING REVIEW: DREW MARTIN 1. The building requires a minimum of 2 exits per IBC Table 1006.3.2(2). Following comments should be addressed. A. Interior and exterior egress lighting is required per Sections 1008.3. Lighting locations should be specified on the plans. B. The lighting should be provided with a 90-minute emergency power supply. The duration and source of the power supply should be stated on the plans. RESPONSE: 1. Exit locations are shown on the Egress Plan sheet AN-1. We are providing 6 exits. A. Exterior egress lights are already shown and noted with keynote 9 on the exterior elevations (A3.1-A3.2) at all exit doors. I have added a note to sheet AN-1 to include interior emergency lighting at all exit signs that are currently noted on sheet AN-1. The emergency lights will be integral with the exit signs. I have added a standard detail depicting the typical exit sign with integral emergency lighting to sheet AN- 1 B. A note has been added to has been added to sheet AN-1 to include the 90-minute battery backup requirement. Keynote 9 on the exterior elevations calling out the exterior emergency light fixtures has also been updated to reflect the 90-minute battery backup requirement. 2. The following comments should be addressed for the exit signs in the First Floor Egress Plan on Sheet AN-1: A. The plan should specify both high and low exit signs. See IBC Section 1013.1. B.
