The submitted construction drawings include building modifications, including but not limited to Sheet S0.01. A separate Building permit application is required for this work. The plans should be revised to remove all non-mechanical work. a. Response: The information listed in the Structural drawings, notably 50.01,was reviewed and approved under B2210-001. Non-mechanical drawings have been removed for clarity. 2. The submitted construction drawings include a Type I hood, including but not limited to Sheets M3.02 and M3.03. A separate Muilding permit application is required for this work. The plans should be revised to remove work associated with the Type 1 hood. a. Response: A separate Building permit application for only the Type 2 hood will be provided with structural calculations. 3. The mechanical schedule on Sheet M0.01 includes two rooftop units weighing 977 and 1,385 lbs. Calculations substantiating the design of the structure to support these weights should be submitted for review. The previously issued Building permits for the new building and TI work do not include evaluation of the building for these weights. Additional Building permits applications should be submitted if modifications to the structure are required. See IBC Sections 1603.1, 1604.1, and 1604.4. a. Response: These structural calculations were submitted for review and approved under B2210-001. 4. The mechanical work includes suspended units exceeding 20 pounds, including but not limited to the exhaust fans. Details providing independent support and seismic bracing should be included in the drawings. Calculations substantiating the design of the supports and the supporting building structure should be submitted for review. Additional Building permits applications should be submitted if modifications to the structure are required. See IBC Sections 1603.1, 1604.1, 1604.4, and 1613.1, and ASCE 7-16 Chapter 13. a. Response: These items were addressed and approved under B2210-001. This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit requirements. The designers-of-record are responsible for a complete design in accordance with- the laws of the state of Washington.
