The submitted construction drawings include building modifications, including but not limited to <br /> Sheet S0.01. A separate Building permit application is required for this work. The plans should <br /> be revised to remove all non-mechanical work. <br /> a. Response: The information listed in the Structural drawings, notably <br /> 50.01,was reviewed and approved under B2210-001. Non-mechanical <br /> drawings have been removed for clarity. <br /> 2. The submitted construction drawings include a Type I hood, including but not limited to Sheets <br /> M3.02 and M3.03. A separate Muilding permit application is required for this work. The plans <br /> should be revised to remove work associated with the Type 1 hood. <br /> a. Response: A separate Building permit application for only the Type 2 hood <br /> will be provided with structural calculations. <br /> 3. The mechanical schedule on Sheet M0.01 includes two rooftop units weighing 977 and 1,385 <br /> lbs. Calculations substantiating the design of the structure to support these weights should be <br /> submitted for review. The previously issued Building permits for the new building and TI work <br /> do not include evaluation of the building for these weights. Additional Building permits <br /> applications should be submitted if modifications to the structure are required. See IBC <br /> Sections 1603.1, 1604.1, and 1604.4. <br /> a. Response: These structural calculations were submitted for review and <br /> approved under B2210-001. <br /> 4. The mechanical work includes suspended units exceeding 20 pounds, including but not limited <br /> to the exhaust fans. Details providing independent support and seismic bracing should be <br /> included in the drawings. Calculations substantiating the design of the supports and the <br /> supporting building structure should be submitted for review. Additional Building permits <br /> applications should be submitted if modifications to the structure are required. See IBC <br /> Sections 1603.1, 1604.1, 1604.4, and 1613.1, and ASCE 7-16 Chapter 13. <br /> a. Response: These items were addressed and approved under B2210-001. <br /> This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br /> amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br /> during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br /> requirements.
