• ORDINANCE NO. 1791 An ordinance providing for the licensing and regulating of junk dealers, prescribing penalties for the violation thereof, amending Ordinance No. 1595, and repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, and declaring an emerg- ency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 1595 of the city of Everett is hereby amended to read as follows: nSection 5: The license fee of pawnbrokers is hereby fixed at the sum of Forty r4C.oo) Dollars per annum; license fee cf junk and second-hand dealers is hereby fixed at the sun of Thirty-five ( 35.0o) Dollarg per annum; and in addition thereto there shall be a license fee of Fifteen : ( `15.00) Dollars for each and every wagon, automobile, truck, or other vehicle used by said junk or second-hand dealers in crying on thei--tusiness, and each of said vehicles shall at all times have conspicuously dis- played thereon a license tag carrying the number of said vehicle license. n Section 2: That Ordinance No. 1595 of said Everett is further amended by adding thereto a section to be designated as Section 14, to read as follows: "Section 14: Every person employed by any junk or second- hand dealer as a driver or operator of the tean, automobile, truck or other vehicle used by said dealer in his business, shall register at the office of the Commissioner of Safety of said Everett, said registration to show the name, age, and residence of said driver, and the name of the person, firm or corporation by whom said driver is employed, and each of said drivers shall re-register on or before the 10th day of January of each year of their employment as such driver or operator.
