EVERETT 2044 <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />6/17/2025 <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT ELEMENT <br /> Page 39 <br /> <br />Pinehurst-Beverly Park <br />The Pinehurst-Beverly Park neighborhood in south Everett consists of single-family residences, <br />apartments, and commercial properties. It is home to Cascade High School and Lions Park with <br />convenient access to retail shops and restaurants. The neighborhood originally developed around the <br />Interurban Railway line, a trolley system that operated between Everett and Seattle from 1910 to 1939 <br />providing travel between the cities. The trolley line is now the Interurban Trail providing easy <br />commuting access by bicycle. <br />Port Gardner <br />The Port Gardner neighborhood encompasses the southside of downtown Everett and stretches <br />between Possession Sound and the Snohomish River. It has restaurants and retail shops and a mix of <br />historic homes and newer single-family homes, apartments, and condominiums. The Port Gardner <br />neighborhood is home to Jackson Elementary School, Sequoia High School, Funko Field, City of Everett <br />and Snohomish County offices and Angel of the Winds Arena. <br />View Ridge-Madison <br />View Ridge-Madison consists of mostly single-family homes on winding hillside roads. It is close to parks <br />with views of Port Gardner Bay and is home to Madison and View Ridge Elementary schools and several <br />small green spaces. It includes local businesses along Evergreen Way and borders nearby Forest Park. <br />Westmont <br />The Westmont neighborhood offers a variety of multi-family apartment complexes and single-family <br />homes. Retail, restaurants, grocery, and specialty food stores are located along Casino Road and <br />Evergreen Way. Kasch and Walter E. Hall Parks are on the western edge of the neighborhood. Adjacent <br />to the Westmont neighborhood is Snohomish County’s largest employer, The Boeing Company. Everett <br />Paine Field is the newest commercial airport in our state. The neighborhood is the most culturally <br />diverse in the city. <br />Riverside <br />Riverside is one of the oldest neighborhood in Everett. It is northeast of downtown and has Cascade <br />Mountain and Snohomish River views. Small apartment buildings and single-family homes are located <br />near Garfield Elementary and North Middle Schools and Garfield Park. Riverside residents can walk to <br />local restaurants and grocery stores. <br />Silver Lake <br />Silverlake neighborhood is the southernmost neighborhood in Everett. This suburban community has <br />three parks abutting Silver Lake: Green Lantern Park, Hauge Homestead Park, and Thornton A. Sullivan <br />Park for hiking, swimming, and picnicking. A wide range of residential homes from single to multi-family <br />homes surround shopping centers with a range of retail and dining choices. The neighborhood includes <br />Monroe Elementary and Eisenhower Schools. <br />South Forest Park <br />South Forest Park is a mixture of single and multi-family homes along the hillside roads. South Forest <br />Park is one of the most heavily forested neighborhoods in Everett and features Forest Park, Woodlawn
