<br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />• In April 2025, Everett City Council adopted Ordinance No. 4087-25 approving the <br />appropriations of the 2025 revised City of Everett Budget, including project-related costs. <br /> <br />D. Funding in the amount of $4,800,000 is needed to advance the design, consulting, and property <br />acquisition costs for the Everett Outdoor Event Center. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 342, Program 052 and shall <br />be entitled “Everett Outdoor Event Center” to accumulate project costs. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Executive Project Manager, under the <br />administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br />necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. The estimated cost of partial design, consultant services, and initial property acquisition <br />is $4,800,000. <br /> <br />Section 4. The sum of $4,800,000 is hereby appropriated for the “Everett Outdoor Event Center” <br />as follows: <br />A. Use of Funds <br />Design Services $3,000,000 <br />Consultant and LegalServices $ 550,000 <br />Initial Property Acquisition Costs, such as earnest money <br />or option payments $1,250,000 <br />Total $4,800,000 <br /> <br />B. Source of Funds <br />Fund 148 – Park Impact Fees $1,300,000 <br />Fund 162 - CIP 4 $ 500,000 <br />Fund 162 - CIP 2 $3,000,000 <br />Total $4,800,000 <br />Section 5. The appropriation shall not lapse but shall be carried forward from year to year until <br />fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without the necessity of <br />reappropriation. <br /> <br />Section 6. The City Clerk and the codifiers of this Ordinance are authorized to make necessary <br />corrections to this Ordinance including, but not limited to, the correction of scrivener’s/clerical errors, <br />references, ordinance numbering, section/subsection numbers, and any internal references. <br /> <br />Section 7.
