While, public transit ridership is low, carpooling seems to be a more popular <br />option of getting to work for Everett residents. While most workers have commutes of under 30 <br />minutes, continued growth in Everett and across the region could increase congestion. Remote work has <br />increased but remains limited. Improving public transit and expanding bike and pedestrian <br />infrastructure could help with reducing commute burdens while encouraging alternative modes of <br />transportation that are not reliant on an automobile. <br />Travel time to Work, Everett, 2023 <br />
