21st of JunjU23 <br /> ECEIVED <br /> Hunter&Arianna Saunders R <br /> 2401 Lexington Ave JUN 29 2023 <br /> Everett,WA 98203 <br /> 206-370-2553 CITY OF EVERETT <br /> hutner.l.saunders@gmail.com Permit Services <br /> James Bronder <br /> Associate Engineer—Plans Examiner <br /> 3200 Cedar St,2nd Floor <br /> Everett,WA 98201 <br /> James Bonder, <br /> In response to your corrections letter regarding our building permit(Plan <br /> Check No.B2304-021),we have updated and changed our permit in response <br /> to the two changes you have requested. <br /> In regards to your 1st comment,the beam we had originally planned to put in <br /> with our existing trusses and the detail B.2 on sheet 6,we will be removing <br /> this option entirely.All of the existing trusses in the house are going to be <br /> removed and we will be replacing them with manufactured trusses.These new <br /> trusses will be engineered and developed by the truss manufacturer in <br /> accordance with our approved plans. <br /> For the second comment you had about needing the energy credits for our <br /> new conditioned area we have now added these into the plans on sheet 3.We <br /> will be adding 716sqft of conditioned area to the house.This falls under"small <br /> dwelling unit"in accordance with WSEC R406.3,and has an energy efficiency <br /> requirement of 3.0 credits.We will be using a ductless mini-split heat pump <br /> system,this falls under system type 4 of Table R406.2 and gives us 0.5 credits. <br /> We will also choose to use option 3.4 of table R406.3, a zonal control mini-split <br /> with a minimum of 10.0 HSPF,giving us 1.5 credits.Our model of chosen <br /> mini-split has an HSPF rating of 11.0 and the model is written on the plans. <br /> Lastly,we will use option 5.4 from table R406.3,an electric heat pump water <br /> heater that meets tier 1 standard of NEEA's advanced water heating <br /> specifications,an additional 1.5 credits.Totaling 3.5 energy credits. <br /> Thank you and please let us know of any further changes regarding our <br /> submitted plans. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> //e, -///+ � Hunter Saunders <br />
