6.0 INSPECTION PROCEDURES <br /> 6.1 Component Listing <br /> The following major power components are inspected for listing marks by <br /> an independent testing laboratory acceptable to the authority having <br /> jurisdiction (AHJ), or are evaluated to the appropriate nationally <br /> recognized consensus standard. Any discrepancies observed during the <br /> evaluation process are noted in Section 7.0. <br /> • Circuit breakers • Transformers <br /> • Fuses and fuse holders • Motors and drives <br /> • Disconnect switches • Motor overload units <br /> • Terminal blocks • Wire ducts <br /> • Pushbuttons and switches • Receptacles <br /> • Relays and contactors • Cables and wiring <br /> 6.2 Visual Inspection <br /> The equipment is visually inspected with particular attention to the <br /> following areas: <br /> • Manufacturer nameplates • Electrical ratings <br /> • Use of "approved" components • Wiring methods <br /> • Proper overcurrent protection • Guarding of live parts <br /> • Wiring ampacity • Damaged components <br /> • Ground bonding • General engineering <br /> practices <br /> 6.3 Ground Bonding <br /> Exposed non-current carrying parts of the equipment are inspected for <br /> effective grounding in accordance with the applicable provisions of the <br /> standards referenced in Section 4.0 and the National Electrical Code <br /> (NEC") Article 250. <br /> Reference No.: 1107995 Page 3 <br />
