Please verify the existing door opening to be 32" per IRC 311.2 and the hallway will be 3ft <br /> per IRC 311.6. <br /> 2. 1/A4 appears to be truss roof detail which is not the applicable in this project, please update <br /> the detail accordingly. Meanwhile, please show roof assembly detail from another direction. <br /> Roof could be vented or unvented, please refer to IRC 806.5. <br /> 3. 2/A4 and 3/A4 are not applicable in this project, but it's ok to leave like that since no <br /> basement scope in the project. <br /> 4. Tapered insulation is not considered as continued insulation on top of slab. Please have R- <br /> 10 rigid insulation to cover the entire slab and then put tapered insulation on top of it. <br /> Kindly revise section drawing 2/A4 and A/A9 accordingly. <br /> Structural (Reviewer: Cal Bearman, P.E.) <br /> 1. The modified load paths should comply with the prescriptive limitations of the IRC. <br /> Details for the construction of the proposed section at the garage that includes raising <br /> the existing roof beam one foot should be included. The details should specify <br /> connections for the top and bottom framing plates to the existing structure. See IRC <br /> Sections R106.1.1 and R301.1. <br /> 2. The proposed roof plan over the garage conversion on sheet A8 appears to show the new <br /> headers at different locations the new windows that are shown on sheet A7. Please revise <br /> accordingly. <br /> This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br /> amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br /> during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br /> requirements.
