The original agreement was for a period of 2 years, <br />terminating on December 31, 2021. The agreement has been amended twice to extend the term <br />– first through February 2025, and second through February 2027. <br />This new agreement replaces the 2019 agreement as amended and extends the term through <br />February 2028 and provides for an updated and clarified access route to the disposal site. <br />The City and Port desire to continue the easement which provides a public benefit. Past dredge <br />materials have been used for a variety of public projects, including but not limited to, near shore <br />restoration of areas along Port Gardner Bay; on-going fairway maintenance material for city golf <br />courses; and fill material for City and Port construction projects <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Temporary Disposal Easement Deed to Port of Everett in the <br />form substantially as provided. <br /> <br />City Council Agenda Item Cover Sheet
