In those situations, new line items may be added by change orders, or the work <br />may be accomplished under a time and materials work order. <br />2.9 CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES <br />Contractor will: <br />• Be able to respond to “request for services” and arrive on-site within one (1) business day of <br />notification by City. <br />• Provide a contact person for requests for service outside of normal business hours (6 a.m. – 5 p.m.). <br />• Advise City of Everett Project Manager or designee of any HVAC damage beyond that reported to the <br />contractor by City immediately. <br />• Notify City prior to implementing any changes caused by perceived violations. <br />• Legally dispose of all removed parts such as lubrication, metals, and associated packaging, leaving the <br />site as clean or cleaner than found on arrival. <br />• Repair any damage caused by the contractor or subcontractors to City-owned property. <br />• Keep the premises free of waste materials, rubbish, scrap materials, unused tools, and equipment. At <br />the completion of each site, ensure that all installation debris is removed. <br />2.10 CITY OF EVERETT RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The City of Everett will: <br />• Notify the contract of specific unplanned and unbudgeted requests for HVAC repairs. <br />• Provide access to all locations. <br />• Notify other City operations of planned work. <br />2.11 CONTRACTOR WORK HOURS <br />Work hours will be determined by the City and the contractor based on the type and critical nature of the <br />work. Generally, work hours are eight (8) hours per day, Monday through Friday, exclusive of City legal <br />holidays, unless requested by the Project Manager. In the event the City desires to work at times other <br />than those specified herein, or on City legal holidays, the City will notify the contractor prior to the start of <br />the work. City legal holidays are as follows: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Martin Luther King JR’s Day, <br />Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving <br />Day, and Christmas Day. <br />
